Health information and suitability

Some therapies offered at Alignment Healing Wellness involve gentle bodywork techniques, including Kinetic Chain Release and tuning fork sound therapy.

While these therapies are generally gentle and non-invasive, they may not be suitable for everyone.

You are responsible for informing us of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, recent surgery, pregnancy, medical implants, or changes to your health before your session.

Full details about suitability and contraindications are outlined on the relevant treatment pages of this website.

If there is any uncertainty about whether a treatment is appropriate, we may pause or decline treatment and suggest seeking medical advice or further clarification before proceeding.

Scope of practice

The therapies offered at Alignment Healing Wellness are complementary wellbeing practices intended to support relaxation, comfort, and general wellbeing.

Sessions may include bodywork, sound-based techniques, energy-focused practices, or reflective sessions such as tarot. These approaches are intended to support personal wellbeing and self-awareness and are not medical treatments.

Treatments are provided within the scope of the practitioner’s training, qualifications, and insurance cover.

We do not diagnose medical conditions, provide medical advice, or recommend changes to prescribed medication or treatment plans. Any concerns about your health should be discussed with your GP or another appropriate healthcare professional.

Individual responses to complementary therapies vary, and no specific outcomes or results can be guaranteed.

Consent and comfort

Your comfort and safety are central to every session.

You are free to ask questions, request adjustments, or stop the session at any time.

By attending a session, you consent to the relevant therapy being carried out as explained, which may include gentle bodywork techniques or the use of therapeutic sound instruments such as tuning forks.

Reflective and intuitive sessions

Some sessions offered through The Turning Page involve reflective or intuitive practices such as tarot card readings or energy-based work.

Tarot readings are offered as reflective tools for personal insight and self-reflection. They do not predict the future and should not be used as a substitute for medical, legal, psychological, or financial advice, and should not be relied upon for decision-making in those areas.

Clients are responsible for their own interpretations and choices following a reading.

Privacy and confidentiality

All personal information shared is treated as confidential and handled in line with data protection requirements.

Your contact details will only be used for booking, communication, and providing your sessions, and will not be shared with third parties without your consent unless legally required.

Client records

Brief notes may be recorded following a session in order to maintain safe and appropriate care.
These records are stored securely and treated as confidential.

Sessions are offered to clients aged 18 and over.

Clients under the age of 18 may only attend bodywork sessions with the written consent and presence of a parent or legal guardian.

Reflective sessions offered through The Turning Page, including tarot readings, are available to adults only.
